Coverage and responsibilities

Describe the desired performance window, location, guest mix, and planned moments. The written quote and booking agreement will identify the coverage, music-planning responsibilities, and other work agreed for your celebration. Equipment, announcements, lighting, and separate spaces are not automatically included by this page.

Optional or quote-dependent details

Announcements, toasts, entrances, multiple areas, microphones, lighting, travel, overtime, and difficult access need an event-specific quote. Good Measure coordinates agreed rental equipment. Nashville and nearby Middle Tennessee are served; longer-distance plans are considered individually. For outdoor events, arrange protected setup, safe venue-approved power, and a written weather/relocation plan. The client or venue confirms load-in, parking or reimbursement, setup time, permissions, and an event contact.

How do we plan for a mixed-age guest list?

Share the age range, must-plays, do-not-plays, guest-request rules, and exact versions. A fully selected playlist is welcome if planned ahead; otherwise John selects within the agreed direction. Clean versions are the default for all-ages events, and explicit tracks need advance approval.

Can you handle announcements or a special moment?

Describe the announcement, toast, entrance, or activity and when it occurs. Any MC or audio responsibility needs to be confirmed in the written quote.

Does the duration or number of spaces affect the quote?

It can. Include the performance window, schedule, and every room or outdoor area you want to discuss so the quote reflects the actual plan.

What reserves our date?

A signed agreement and 30% retainer reserve it. Final details are due 30 days ahead and the balance 14 days ahead. Cancellation/rescheduling terms are governed by the signed agreement. Earlier planning helps; last-minute events may be considered when the date and production can be supported.
